EnVerdenAf.dk is a backend system and interface designed to collect and structure content from various sources—currently supporting WordPress and YouTube. The core idea is to aggregate blog posts and videos from multiple platforms and map their categories and tags to a unified set of custom categories defined by the user.
For example, you might collect blog content across various niches—such as travel, food, lifestyle, or health—and encounter different labels for the same topic. If several blogs cover hiking, some may use tags like “Hiking”, “Trekking”, “Walking tours”, or the Danish “Vandreferie”. With EnVerdenAf.dk, you can map all of these variations to a single custom category like “Hiking”, enabling consistent and unified search across all content sources.
This structured approach allows for seamless filtering and categorization of soft content (like blog posts and videos), in the same way platforms like Momondo structure flight data or PriceRunner structures product data—except here, it’s about ideas, inspiration, and storytelling, not physical products.
Using this structured data, it's possible to build websites, apps, and other digital experiences that offer a unique and cohesive user experience.
The EnVerdenAf system includes:
- A backend for data management and content mapping
- A REST API for data access
- A WordPress plugin for front-end integration
- A beta mobile app for Enverdenafrejser.dk, showcasing the system in action
